When you live as far out as I do you see a lot of strange things. So when I hear tell about weird creatures or mysterious happenings in these woods I don't question them much. Sometimes the stories line up and sometimes they don't, but it's dangerous to discount something that might kill ya, so I keep it all up in my mental lockbox for safekeeping, just in case.

But I can smell a hoax from a mile away, and this "Glendo" thing smelled rank. You're telling me some kind of robot doohickey keeps popping up all over, and everybody on [NAME OF PROJECT H RELATED GROUP OF WEBSITES] says they've seen it, but nobody's got a decent picture of the thing? There's a lot of techheads out there on [WEBSITE NAME] and [OTHER WEBSITE NAME] documenting this stuff, and I'm positive those poindexters know their way around a camera. So, since all the photo evidence of this Glendo thing looks like it got dredged up from a lake bed, I took that as a sign something fishy was going on.

I figured it was probably a prank cooked up by a bored college kid with too much time on their hands. Maybe it was computer edited, or maybe it was a costume, but whatever it was didn't matter much to me. If someone felt like getting their kicks by tricking suckers into believing there's a robot running around, what did I care? But now that I've seen it for myself I swear it's as real as the hair in my beard. Glendo is no hoax.

It all started when I got my new digital camera. I took the trip down into town about a few weeks ago and picked up a sleek blue number that I'd been eyeing for a while, and I even made sure it came with slots for two SD cards, since you can never take too many pictures. Yes, I do know what a SD card is.

It's all well and good to capture the sight of a beautiful sunset in your mind, but if you want to show anyone else what you saw, a mental image doesn't cut the mustard. So I thought I'd get a new camera, and a fancy digital one to boot, I could share some of the wonders I see on a daily basis without the hassle of getting film developed. If you've explored my other pages you've probably seen some of the photos I took with my ancient polaroid, but no matter how much I cherish the old thing I have to admit that digital photography has a certain appeal.

I started snapping pictures constantly. Nothing seemed too insignificant to photograph now that I had the power of the latest in camera technology on my side. I became a regular shutterbug, and I began to take my camera with me whenever I went on a walk, since there was always the chance that something photo worthy might appear while I was out.

So when I decided to take a walk up near Darrow's Ridge yesterday, my camera was right there with me.

This little story continues from here with this forest guy having an encounter with Glendo, but I'm too tired to finish this right now, and this is just a mock up anyways, so you can imagine how the rest would go.

So that's my sighting, or whatever they're calling it. If you know more information about this Glendo thing, and I mean real information, not the stuff that everyone already knows, please send it to me.
